What is the minimum bulk order for HBNO to provide batch-specific GC/MS testing and custom private label specifications?

Minimum 25L for batch-specific GC/MS reports and dedicated quality documentation. Orders under 25L receive reference GC/MS from the most recent batch. Custom formulation requests (blending, dilution, ratio adjustment) require 50L minimum. Contact customer service for special project quotes below minimums.

Can bergamot oil be used in candles and hot-process soap?

Yes, with care. The flash point is 58 °C (SDS), so add it at the end of the cook or pour stage, as cool as the process allows, to limit top-note loss.

What use level applies to cold-pressed bergamot in leave-on cosmetics?

Cold-pressed bergamot contains bergapten, a furocoumarin IFRA restricts in leave-on skin products. Set maximum levels from HBNO's IFRA certificate, or specify bergapten-free bergamot for leave-on formulas.

Cold-pressed or bergapten-free (FCF) bergamot: which should I specify?

Cold-pressed keeps the full natural profile and suits rinse-off, candle and fine-fragrance work. Bergapten-free (rectified) bergamot has furocoumarins removed and is the usual choice for leave-on skin care.

Is bergamot oil suitable for cold-process soap?

Yes. Add at trace. Citrus top notes fade faster than base notes in cured bars, so formulators usually anchor bergamot with a woody or resinous base note.

Is HBNO bergamot oil food grade?

Yes. It meets the FEMA/GRAS standard for flavor use and is cosmetic grade. Supplied with CoA, reference GC/MS report, SDS and IFRA certificate.
